Lg 3d blu ray player region hack
You should upgrade or use an alternative browser. LG BHS 3d blu-ray hcs multi region hack help!! Have tried the older tricks for other players 7 Zeros trick, trick but no luck There seems to be little on the net on how to do this, but I assume it must be possible some kind of re-program of the EPROM that contains the regional coding?
I personally can't see much point in regional coding these days I understood it allowed film makers in the US to reduce costs by only producing a set number of celluloid film reels which were then recycled many times after the main release in the big US cities. These reels were then 're-used' globally in other cinemas cheaper, but staggered film release dates.
Surely now that the world is moving more towards digital media and projection, we should all be able to enjoy p or even 4G simultaneous film release dates?
Then regional coding would not be required? I can watch Netflix HD movies 'streamed' over my iPhone to my laptop! Anyway, I digress a little Many thanks Last edited: Dec 29, After hours more searching, I think the easiest option is to sell it on and buy another player.
However, I can't give up that easily and like a challenge! So, I reckon the firmware needs to be modified. If this works, maybe a windfall of previously un-hackable LG players will then be able to be modified. I will report back if I can find the interface port on the motherboard. Meanwhile any help would be appreciated.
ScottyToo Active Member. Any luck Gav? Unfortunately not yet I've been otherwise distracted. If there are any experts out there who know how to do this though, please fell free to chip in I am also looking to hack this. I don't normally play with stuff like this but am quite nerdy code not wires and circuit boards! Anybody else made any movements with this? Copystars BD-R. Newest guides.

Now just change the MontBlanc. Burn the LG file on a CD and put it into the player.
The player will recognize it as Data disc and you'll see a new black window asking you to set with your remote control the regional code you want. I chose 0 for all regions to be available, of course! That's all. Region code posted by Squeezer, June 23 I created a folder named LG, within that another folder named violet, within that a folder rubicon, then within that an empty txt named MontBlanc. DVD Didn't do anything. I only could flip to the folders until it showed that the rubicon folder was empty for the BP Region code posted by Squeezer, June 25 Problem solved: The LG folder is wrong.
Just create a folder named Violet, within that a folder named Rubicon, within it a file MontBlanc. Then rename the file into MontBlanc.
DVD and make sure also the file type is changed from textfile to dvd file. Then burn it on a finalised CD. A DVD won't do it! Insert the CD in your BP and a blue screen will occur, where you can change the region code.
I choose 0 for all regions. Region code hack posted by JustAUser, August 25 Sorry, the hack described does not work. At all. DVD file is not visible. There is also no blue screen, no possibility to change the region code. And of course the region is not changed, DVD's from another region are still rejected.
