BMC's leadership suffered 3 major setbacks since around , most notably taking a wait-and-see approach to the cloud. Also working against BMC is the age of its software with mainframe and network monitoring going back to the 's and Enterprise Application software which is used to provide it's SaaS offering from the 's.
Its not shiny and new, although it keeps getting repackaged to appear that way, but it does work hence they have been around for a long time. Problem is people want shiny and new, both as customers buying product and employees wanting modern, inclusive, work-life balance places of employment.
These things make it a challenging environment - competition with competitors is fierce as the younger companies with the shiny, new product suite are eagerly taking market share away from BMC.
This can make it seem like a 'what have you done for me lately' type place to work. Another way to describe it, its always 4th down, 2min to go, ball on the 1 yard line, we just need a little push to get through this. Its constant. Wonderful teamwork, great corporate culture, highly intelligent coworkers. It is a very inclusive and service oriented company. Lots of perks and lovely work environment. BMC has changes over the years and has become less personable and more work. Almost all work is virtual. The only interaction is by phone and when assigned to customers. An occasional Skype meeting with the "Team" tied us together. We appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We are disappointed to read your comments about the virtual work culture, but we will share this information with the appropriate teams.
BMC continuously searched for ways to establish their brand as the industry leader. Innovation was a key theme throughout all the different business units. Pros great work life balance. Cons long waits for advancement opportunities. BMC is a compnay with various products that are focussed on Data Cetner management. The company is primarily divided into Business Units that have product families focussed on a particular segment of Data center management.
I belong to the Service Management BU and our products are considered leaders in that space. Our solutions offer speed, agi Good work environment and contrast teammates are support and the management is transparent there is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling company policies are good appraisal are fair and they give good salary hike and bonus every year.
There is s lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issues salary is decent but career growth is slow cannot resign on the job training is not given to new joinees.
The job is quite interesting! I struggled a bit in the beginning as there was no formal training session. I learnt everything on the job. I got a chance to wear multiple hats and that helped me get a taste of different roles within the same team. Work timings: Flexible Timings.
Work related travel: This is a desk job. Good pantry service in office, different types of bonuses, and use of advanced technology in product development. No dedicated training platform for employees, optimised number of employees that causes hefty work load, poor job security and lack of growth, poor salary increament. It's good only if personal relationship is cultivated with higher management. Managers are powered to hire and fire which is frequently abused. Work timings: Strict Timings.

Not much to like about, not a good company from job security and management point of view. Good working culture. Management is supportive , Appraisal is decent. Work life is pretty good. Ot will be tough in the initial time as you have to learn on job. However there will be lot of people around you to guide you to excel in your job.

No support M third party applicant on manpower payroll and my salary is very low No allowances no covid 19 allowance even I am using my own internet without allowance only salary which am equally ashamed of They just say that you are very nice employee your work is good we will see that you will be on payroll soon bt always extend the contract of third-party
