Powerpoint pot files location

I keep getting the same error " powerpoint cant open this type of file". When i press show help it says maybe it was saved as a powerpoint but not actually a powerpoint. And i also tried to change some settings in the trust options on powerpoints settings. This thread is locked. You can follow the question or vote as helpful, but you cannot reply to this thread.
