With a ton of unlockables and dozens of classic wrestlers from the glory days of the World Wrestling Federation, Legends of WrestleMania is a fan's dream come true. The simplified gameplay makes it more approachable to every kind of gamer, but the hardcore ones could dislike its lack of difficulty, even at the higher levels.
It's a real shame that Legends of WrestleMania turns out to be such a slight affair as otherwise it's quite possibly the best wrestling game that developer Yuke's has made in a long time. The control system is a genuine improvement over previous efforts and the strong roster of legends is highly appealing.
Had Yuke's fleshed out the WrestleMania Tour portion of the game into a fully-fledged story mode, this could have been something pretty special.
As it stands however, Legends simply feels like an incomplete experience, which is a real shame and a major missed opportunity. Gaming Age. Before each match, video clips reminiscent of NFL films play, retelling the events leading to a match as well as the outcome.
Any longtime follower of the sport will appreciate the opportunity to review these moments. The greatest weakness in Legends of Wrestlemania is a lack of depth.
The game only consists of two single-player modes outside of exhibition. Some type of career mode could have given the title more longevity.
The game also uses quick-time events, interactive scenes where players must press a button at the right time to complete a move. In some cases, this mechanic adds drama to a match. When analyzing finishing moves and whips into the ropes, it actually makes those experiences slightly harder than in most wrestling games. WWE Legends of Wrestlemania is exciting, but only for a brief period of time. Families can talk about the classic wrestlers compare to today's athletes.

Unfortunately the fighting mechanic was entirely 2 simplistic but thank God it wasn't as awful as tna impacts controls ugh.
The presentation of the Retro theme was awesome but the overall gameplay was a friggin mess, and hopefully if there's another LOW it'll be significantly better.
