Good luck with the re-attempt at IE 7. Using XP SP IE7 just doesn't run well for me I believe IE 6 will automatically be made available once you, hopefully, are able to remove IE7. There shouldn't be any needed "re-installation," unless the whole OS has to be re-installed.
